Diamond Biscuits are not new to any Indian family; Be it the sugar coated ones or the simple salty ones. They are the best tea time snack you can serve and i bet these will be loved by all. If they are homemade then there is no reason to say no.
I can remember those summer holidays when all cousins would be at home and my aunts would all plan for a few days and make a list of snacks that they can feed us if we ever said the word hungry. Those days buying snacks from the market was not a popular thing and there were no online stores.
There are lots of snacks that you can make fresh at home which are actually better when made at home. These maida biscuits are so easy to make and they can become finger food for your kids. better than then a lot of packaged snacks.
What do you need to make these Maida Biscuits?
- Maida / all purpose flour
- Salt
- Water
- Oil for deep frying
- Knife to cut maida into diamonds.
