Some like it hot, some like it cold (ME), some like to sip it all day long. Yes i am talking about Coffee.
Apparently coffee is dated back to 10th century! The word "coffee" entered the English language in 1582 via the Dutch koffie,[3] borrowed from the Turkish kahve, in turn borrowed from the Arabic qahwah.
I remember watching a show on TV that talked about This "Black Ivory Coffee". The interesting part about this coffee is the coffee beans are eaten by elephants and later collected from their poop. The coffee gets a unique taste by going through the elephant's stomach. You should google it and read about it, it is really interesting!
Well we are not making anything so complicated! it s going to be a simple Cold Coffee! The same one you shell out a lot of money for at a coffee shop. It is so simple to replicate it! You will not believe me if i told you it takes less than 5 minutes to make it! actually less than that, if you have all the ingredients ready. and it requires exactly 5 items. 3 requires and 2 optional and most of these are easily available at home! Oh did i mention we do not add sugar??
I am not mentioning ratios for this recipe too. Go on and personalise the coffee as per your taste. You want it strong, add more coffee powder, want it sweet add more ice cream
Let us see what we need to make Cold Coffee:
- Milk
- Vanila ice cream
- Coffee Powder (use the instant one)
- Chocolate syrup
- Chocolate (Any! i had kisses, i used that!)
How to make a nice glass of Cold Coffee?
It is all done in one step! Step 2 is to drink it up!
In a blender add ice cream, if you like your coffee sweet, add more ice cream. add milk, the chocolate syrup and the most important thing Coffee Powder! Blend all of this to a nice mix. Taste and adjust the ingredients accordingly.
Pour this in a tall glass. Add another a scoop of ice Cream, and throw in some chocolate! I could not find the grater, i just cut my chocolate with a knife and dropped it in the glass! I personally love to bite into chocolate when i drink cold coffee!
I hope you will make a nice big glass of cold coffee for yourself and enjoy it!!
