Roti Sandwich





















Roti / chapati is one of the most common breakfast items and some days you can run out of idea as to what to serve it with....! this roti sandwich can be a live saver because the butter smeared on top of it makes it nice and crispy.. giving you a crunch in every bite. It can also be a nice way to feed a fussy kid... because you can add whatever vegetables you want inside and add some cheese / oregano for the extra taste. 





There are many ways you can make this ... for some reason i love this simple version... it is a sandwich.. but not bread... has butter but also has all the basic salad vegetables and these are not really cooked... they are raw and crisp! 



What do you need to make the Roti Sandwich? 


  • Roti / Chapati 
  • Cucumber 
  • Tomatoes 
  • onions  
  • Butter 
  • Crushed pepper 
  • Salt 

How to make the Roti Sandwich ?

Step 1: Chop the vegitables and keep them aside. 

Step 2:  Place a Roti / Chapati on a tawa and  roast it with some butter, now put the butter side down and put the chopped vegetables on the roti.. season it with some crushed pepper and salt. 




Step 3:  Cover this with another roti and smear more butter on this one too and roast it..!! done.. cut it into half and eat it up when it is hot!!
