Paneer Bhurji








I have become a little busy and have not posted for a long time!! i guess that is the life of a toddler's mom. Today was mini food milestone for us. So i had to post it.It was his first time eating paneer!! We are a little slow... super slow with tasting anything new... but we are getting there.  


i had some Organic paneer by Akshyakalpa, you must try them if you get a chance and no i am not getting paid to recommend them :) So it was perfect to try it! it was easy to make and and..... he ate it!!! 



Paneer bhurji is super easy to make and is so full of flavor that you will fall in love with it! you can make it in less than 15 minutes. It is a super popular with all ages! 



What do you need to make the Paneer Bhurji?


  • Tomatoes
  • Onions 
  • Paneer 
  • Cumin 
  • Cumin Powder 
  • Coriander Powder 
  • salt 
  • Fresh coriander 
  • Ginger and garlic paste
  • Ghee 
  • Garam Masala



How to make the Paneer Bhurji?

Step 1:  Chopping of your vegetables and crumbling the paneer. 


Step 2:
Add some ghee to a pan and once it is hot add the Cumin and let it crackle, add fresh ginger and garlic paste and fry till the raw smell goes away. 





Step 3: Add chopped onions to this followed by salt and fry till translucent and add the chopped tomatoes and add the spice powders... Cumin powder, Coriander powder, Garam masala and cover and cook for about 3-4 minutes.




Step 4: Now add the grated / crumbled paneer!! and cook for 3-4 minutes again , garnish with fresh coriander! and done!!!
