Mooli ke Parathe
















Mooli / Radish is a root vegetable and has amazing benefits, regular consumption is good for health in more than one ways. Radish is good for hair, skin and is good for good health.


2 radish dishes that i love LOVE!! One is the Pickled Mooli and the other is the Mooli ke Parathe! Both so easy to make you will love them. Mooli paratha is a regular dinner item at our home and we all love it! We eat it with some curd and some Besan ki chutney. Even though we We use grated raw mooli in this preparation you will not feel the pungent smell.  


What do you need to make Mooli ke Parathe?

  • Mooli grated
  • Salt
  • Green chillies
  • Coriander
  • Chilli powder 
  • Wheat Flour 
  • Oil 

How to make Mooli ke Parathe? 

Step 1: Grate the mooli add salt to it and leave it aside. The mooli will start oozing water. Collect that water in another bowl, squeeze and take out as much water as you can. 

Step 2:  In a wide mouthed bowl take the required amount of wheat flour and add the other ingredients one by one. Chilly powder, cumin powder, Coriander powder, a little oil and the grated mooli. Mix all this well. 

Step 3: Make a well in the bowl and slowly add water and mix it into a smooth dough. Then the process is same as how you would make a paratha. Make small roundels and then using a rolling pin spread them into circles, and roast them on low flame on a tawa. turn the paratha over and cook it both sides. 



Step 4: serve this with some Besan ki chutney or any chutney that you like and curd.
