Fried Mozzarella cheese sticks

















A snack that everyone irrespective of age loves!! Cheesy fingers! these fly off a plate in no time and are easy to make. We do not eat egg at home so the egg less cheesy sticks for us, but if you do an egg wash might enhance the taste. 


A party is not complete if you do not have deep fried stuff,  It is a big bonus if the snack is a cheesy one! (Drooool!!) 

Cheesy fingers, cheesy sticks , fried mozzarella home made cheesy sticks, whatever you want to call it.. these crispy outside and cheesy inside snack is so good that it will become a regular at all your parties, especially when you get to know how easy it is to make. 


What do you need to make Mozzarella Cheese sticks? 
  • Mozzarella Cheese 
  • All Purpose Flour (Maida)
  • Corn flour 
  • Bread crumbs 
  • salt
  • Mixed Herbs 
  • Oregano 
  • Oil for deep frying. 

How to make Mozzarella Cheese Sticks?

Step 1: keep the cheese block out of the fridge and cut them into thin and long fingers and freeze them for at least 1 hour. 


Step 2: Let us make the batter, the only rule you need to follow is  the batter has to be thick. really thick. In a bowl combine, APF (Maida) , Corn flour, bread crumbs, mixed herbs , oregano and mix it well add a little water to make it a thick batter. 

Step 3: Take out the cheese sticks and dip them in this batter make sure the cheese is fully covered with the batter, press the sticks and make sure the batter is not falling off. 


If you feel the batter is falling off then roll these sticks in bread crumbs and press hard and make sure nothing is falling off. keep them in the freezer for at least 1 hour. 






Step 4: Take the frozen Mozzarella sticks and deep fry them on low flame. Leave them on a tissue paper to let the excess oil drain and serve hot with a dip of your choice.
