  • Garlic
  • Onions
  • Chilli Powder
  • Cashew nuts
  • Cumin Powder
  • Coriander powder
  • Garam Masala powder
  • Salt
  • Oil

How to make Mutter Paneer?

Step 1: Is to cook the mutter, not really cook cook, but because we used frozen i wanted to just blanch them that way we are sure that it is cooked perfectly!

I have a picture of my mutter in water, this one is only because of the brilliant color these mutter have. It is liek tehy are screeming for a photo! :)

Step 2: In a pan add roughly chopped tomatoes and onions fry for a bit add, salt, Garam Masala,  Chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder add a hand full of cashew nuts and cook. leave these to start oozing some oil and switch off the gas and let this cool down. Once completely cool grind this to a smooth paste.

Step 3: In a pan add some oil and once it is hot add chopped garlic and fry it well, now add the paste we just made add some water and bring to your desired consistancy, add the mutter/ Peas that we just defrosted / cooked. i love it a bit watery so added more water. You can add less water so the gravy is much thicker! Check the salt levels and adjust as required.

Step 4: Add the cubed paneer and cook for 5-8 minutes. That is it! we Serve it with some hot puri's or phulka's.
