3 minute Instant tomato chutney - No Oil.








Monsoons have arrived in India and it is very popular that with tea you want to have some snacks, (read deep fried). We always need a matching dip for any deep fry snack.


How i made this Instant  chutney is a very interesting chutney, i learnt from a Mirchi Bajji Uncle; You must be wondering why i am calling him uncle? Let me tell you why; my friend and I used to be a regular at his thela, almost every day we would stop by and he would make a fresh batch of mirchi  bajji's and mysore bonda's for me. What amazing days those were, because of the love he showered on us,  we  reciprocated it and called him uncle.

So yesterday my cook treated us to some awesome potato bajji's and i remembered that special chutney, i had to make it,that is it. I HAD to. It does not require oil at all, it is the most fresh dip you could make and super quickly. 


What do you need to make the Instant Spicy Tomato Chutney:


  • Tomatoes 
  • Coriander
  • Green Chillies 
  • Salt  


How to make the Instant (super) and Spicy Tomato Chutney: 

It is really only one step, roughly chop the tomatoes , green chillies and the coriander, put them in a blender; Add some salt and blend it all.  

That is it! It is really that instant. Always make it fresh to get the best result. You will love it, even if you are someone who plans things ahead. This monsoon season make this tomato dip and enjoy it with crisps of your choice.
