Leftover Potatoes!!!!! Very common situation in most homes; The reason the popularity of potatoes! enuff said! So the other day i boiled potatoes for a curry to go with Dosa, has a few extra, they became our tea time snack! Potato bhajji is a very easy to make snack and loved by one and all!!
Apologies that i do not have stet by step pictures for this one, i am sure i will get a chance to make them again (soon); will remember to take step by step pictures.
What do you need to make Potato bhajji?
- Potatos
- Gram flour
- Salt
- Chilli powder
- Water
- Oil enough to deep fry
How to make potato bhajji ?
Step 1 is to cut thin slices of the potato, because you potatoes are already boiled be careful while cutting the slices.
Step 2 is making the batter, in a wide mouthed bowl take the gram flour/ besan and add salt and chilly powder to it. Mix well and add water bring to a watery consitancy.
Tip: the batter needs to be thick enough to cover the Potato.
Step 3 is to dip the slices in the batter and deep fry! :) Serve hot with whatever sauce/ dip you want or just sprinkle some chat masala.
