Cutlet with leftover Roti / Chapati - Introducing the Rolets

I am so happy i made these out of the world "Roti cutlets"! They can be made easily with leftover chapati /Phulka /Roti. From now on i will follow the advice giving by Chef Sanjeev Kapoor and will name my dishes so hear i introduce to you the "Rolets" !!

What do you need to make Rolets?

1. Leftover Roti

2. Potato
3. Carrot
4. Tomato
5. Capsicum
6. Onion
7. Salt
8. Gara masala
9. Cumin Powder
10. Coriander powder

How to make Rolets?

Step 1: Is to cut up your roti into bits and grind it, keep aside the Roti crumbs.

Step 2: Roughly chop the Potatoes, Carrots, Tomato and boil them (add a bit of salt to the water). Once they are fully cooked, Drain out the water and mash.

Step 3: Add the finely chopped capsicum and onion to the mashed vegetables; Its time to add dry spices add some Coriander powder, Cumin powder, Garam masala, salt and mix well.

Step 4: Add the Roti crumbs to the vegetable mixture and mix well. There should be no need to add water as there will be enough moister in the boiled vegetables. Adding more water will make the mixture dough watery and we cannot make cutlets.

Step 5: Make desired shape of this dough and gently place them on a tawa; add a little oil around the cutlets and turn the cutlets over and cook well on both sides.

Step 6: Serve hot with some tomato sauce.
