Spicy and tangy Cabbage Chutney with leftover cabbage curry.



Belonging to the family of lettuce cabbage is High in vitamin A and has zero fat. In all it is a very healthy vegetable!! In this post let us see what we can do with leftover cabbage curry.

This recipe can be served with Steamed rice or with Roti for those that can handle the spice. 


What you need to make cabbage chutney??
  • Leftover cabbage curry
  • Dry red chilly
  • Split green gram 
  • Mustard seeds 
  • Tamarind paste 
  • Salt
  • Oil 

How to make Cabbage chutney?? 

In a pan take some oil and fry the Tadka, Split green gram and the mustard seeds keep aside. now fry the dry red chilies (add a couple extra than you would normally, This chutney is going to be spicy one!! keep all this aside. 











Add the leftover cabbage curry the pulses, tamarind paste some salt and grind to a nice paste!! serve it with steaming hot plain rice and a helping of ghee! :)
